Delegation from Samara State Government, Russia, Visited BJTU

On the afternoon of October 31, 2016, Vice President LIU Jun met with the delegation from Samara State Government, Russia. Both sides have conducted in-depth discussions on the topics of student-teacher exchange and joint research among BJTU, Samara State Transport University and Samara State Aerospace University.

Vice President LIU Jun extended warm welcome to the guests on behalf of BJTU. He said both universities share long history and solid foundation of cooperation. BJTU has attached great importance to the friendly cooperation with Russian universities. He hoped that this visit would help consolidate the existing cooperation and extend partnership.

Zheleznov Dmitry, Rector of Samara State Transport University, hoped that both sides would carry out varied channels of practical cooperation in the research areas of common interest so as to consolidate bilateral traditional partnership.

Pashkov Dmitry, Vice Rector of Samara State Aerospace University, hoped that both sides would carry out practical cooperation on student exchange, scholar visiting and joint research.

After the meeting, the guests also visited the State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety. 

Principals from the Center for International Education, Office of International Affairs and School of Traffic and Transportation were also present at the meeting.
