Prof. Alvaro Penteado Crósta, Vice Rector of the State University of Campinas, Brazil Visited BJTU





On the morning of June 15, 2015, President NING Bin met with Prof. Alvaro Penteado Crósta, Vice Rector of the State University of Campinas, Brazil. Both sides reviewed the process of establishing the Confucius Institute and reached consensuses on the scientific research, faculty and student exchange and building of Portuguese profession.



In the afternoon, Prof. Alvaro Penteado Crósta gave a lecture titled “Higher Education, Science and Technology in Brazil” at the Science Hall for about 200 teachers and students.



After the meeting, Prof. Alvaro Penteado Crósta visited the State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety and School History Museum, accompanied by Vice President LIU Jun.

Vice President LIU Jun and principals from the Cultural Section of Brazilian Embassy in China, Office of International Affairs and School of Languages and Communication Studies were also present at the meeting.
