Education Counsellor of the Malaysian Embassy in China and Vice Chancellor of University of Pahang visit BJTU

On the morning of April 3, 2023, Guan Zhongliang, Vice President of BJTU, met with Muhammad Sallehuddin bin Mohd Dilif, Education Counsellor of the Malaysian Embassy in China, Jason Choy Min Sheng, First Secretary of Education Department, and Mohd Rusllim bin Mohamed, Vice Chancellor of University of Pahang.

Vice President Guan extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced background information on BJTU's rich history, competitive academic programs, talent cultivation, international development, and contributions to the national rail transit industry. He also highlighted the university's successful collaborations with Malaysia, such as the joint student training programs with the University of Pahang and the railway personnel training courses. He hopes that the two parties could further enhance cooperation in personnel training and foreign-related training, thereby facilitating the development of Malaysia's railway construction and the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

Counselor Sallehuddin expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and appreciated the contributions of our university in personnel training, scientific research and service to the national rail transit industry. He also introduced the development of higher education in Malaysia and expressed his willingness to continue supporting the university in future cooperation and exchanges with relevant universities in Malaysia. He hoped that these efforts will deepen the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Malaysia.
