KTH Vice President Ramon Wyss Visited BJTU

On May 2014, Chair of the University Council CAO Guoyong and the delegation visited Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden, and met with Ramon Wyss, Vice President of KTH. During the meeting, both parties reached preliminary consensus on student exchange, joint research and other possible cooperation and signed a new cooperative agreement.

On the afternoon of August 12th, CAO Guoyong met with delegation from KTH, led by Vice President Ramon Wyss on the invitation of Beijing Jiaotong University.

CAO Guoyong extended his sincere welcome and gratitude to their return visit in short time, expected further cooperation on the basis of primary discussions in May. He promised related schools and departments of BJTU would positively support all round cooperation with KTH.

On the afternoon of August 13th, Vice President CHEN Feng met with the delegation and discussed details for mutual cooperation.

CHEN Feng briefed achievements of cooperation for past years. In total over 100 students benefited from student programs between BJTU and KTH, and the 3+2 joint degree program won a high reputation among BJTU students. He expected to strengthen cooperation on student mobility and joint PhD programs and research cooperation, to promote talents cultivation.
