In the afternoon of July 4, Vice President LIU Jun met with Professor Plinio Innocenzi, Science Counsellor of Italy Embassy in China and Professor Stefano Polizzi from University Ca' Foscari of Venice at 613 Conference Room of Siyuan Building. Both parties had a cordial and friendly talk and exchanged ideas on international cooperation.

LIU Jun made an introduction on the development and internationalization of Beijing Jiaotong University, as well as the Joint Program cooperated with Milano Polytechnic University. He also hoped both parties could promote the cooperation between BJTU and Italian universities.

After the meeting, Professor Plinio Innocenzi and Professor Stefano Polizzi gave lectures to BJTU students on Nano-scale Self-assembled materials and Luminescent materials for solar cells, respectively.
