Delegation from the University of Westminster, U.K. Visited BJTU



On the morning of October 21, 2014, Vice President CHEN Feng met with Mrs. Alexandra Hughes, Pro Vice Chancellor of University of Westminster, Mr. David Dernie, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment as well as Mrs. Vicky Li-Ong, Regional Manager, East Asia Affairs of International Office from the University of Westminster, U.K. at Siyuan Building.



CHEN Feng expressed gratitude to the University of Westminster, on behalf of BJTU, for undertaking the 7th BJTU Administrative Staff Overseas Training Program in U.K. from September 20 to October 10, 2014. Then he introduced the talents cultivation, discipline construction and international cooperation and exchange of the University. He hoped that both sides would, taking the training program as good beginning and on the basis of mutual understanding, further enhance cooperation in urban planning, mass communications, law and humanities of common interest.



Mrs. Alexandra Hughes said she felt honored to undertake the training program and then briefed the University’s history, strength disciplines and cooperation with Chinese universities. Taking this opportunity, she expected to expand cooperation with BJTU on teacher exchange, student exchange and scientific research. Also, she welcomed teachers and students from BJTU to study and exchange in the University of Westminster.
