HUANG Taiyan

Prof. HUANG Taiyan was born in Weifang City, Shandong Province in April 1963. He joined the Communist Party of China in November 1984 and graduated from Wuhan University with a bachelor degree of Arts the next year majoring in Library Science. After his graduation, Prof. HUANG Taiyan began his professional career and continued with his research and academic pursuit. In 1991 and 2006, he received successively his master and doctoral degree of Law majoring in Public Administration and Political Science. Prof. HUANG Taiyan has served in Wuhan University as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information and Management, Deputy Director of Office of Students Affairs, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Director of Human Resources Department, Assistant President, member of Standing Committee of  the University and Vice President, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Executive Vice-Chair of the University Council. In March 2019, Prof. HUANG Taiyan was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of BJTU.
